Today’s patent was invented by Ulrich H. von Andrian, Omid C. Farokhzad, Robert S. Langer, Tobias Junt, Elliott Ashley Moseman, Liangfang Zhang, Pamela Basto, Matteo Iannacone, and Frank Alexis on January 10, 2017, bearing patent no. US9539210.

The current invention offers nanocarrier delivery compositions and techniques for immune system cells. The invention offers vaccine nanocarriers that, in some embodiments, contain at least one immunomodulatory agent, at least one targeting moiety, and at least one immunostimulatory agent and are capable of eliciting an immunological response in T cells and/or B cells.

Pharmaceutical compositions with innovative vaccine nanocarriers are offered by the innovation. The current invention offers techniques for creating novel vaccination nanocarriers and pharmaceutical formulations using these nanocarriers. The invention offers techniques for the prevention and/or treatment of illnesses, disorders, and conditions that involve giving a subject that needs a vaccine at least one novel vaccine nanocarrier.
