TODAY’S PATENT- STACKABLE TABLETOP FOR FORDABLE TABLE
Today’s patent was invented by Frank Tsal on July 11, 2006 bearing patent no. US7073450B2.
The present invention provides a tabletop for foldable tables having geometrically conditioned contours that enable the tabletop to stack on another of the same kind with substantial retaining force therebetween. This invention includes a tabletop member having a top surface determining a peripheral edge portion and a first contour formed there along and a bottom surface adapted for pivotally connecting two legs assemblies thereon. And an engaging rim that is provided along a peripheral edge portion of the bottom surface of the tabletop member.
The stackable tabletop is adopted to overlapped stack on another stackable tabletop by engaging the second contour of the engaging rim of the stackable tabletop with the first contour of the top surface of another stackable tabletop to substantially retain the two stackable tabletops in position and avoid a lateral relative movement between the stackable tabletop and another stackable tabletop.
