TODAY’S PATENT- STRESS RELIEVING DEVICE

The STRESS RELIEVING DEVICE was invented by Jacob M. Geist (Allentown, PA) on the 26th of June 1979 bearing patent number US4159116A.

The present invention is a device is to reduce the swelling of the muscles near the elbow resulting from the user holding the handles of equipment, tennis rackets, or other objects. The device is designed to support the little and the fourth finger of the hand used to grip the handle. This invention helps in reducing the likelihood of the occurrence of tennis elbow and thereby use of the invented device will reduce the pain level. The device includes an auxiliary device that allows only a small closed movement of the appropriate finger to move the wearer’s fourth or little finger downwards. When using such assistive devices manually, the retention will depend on the partial closure of the supporting finger. The retaining means is attached to the supporting means and encircles the supported finger as a ring. The retaining instrument is attached to the auxiliary instrument and surrounds the supported finger in the form of a ring. Thus, this device is very beneficial for its users.
