TODAYS PATENT – TOOTHBRUSH

The Toothbrush was invented by Martin Vitt (Frankfurt/Main), Gerhard Schaefer (Frankfurt/Main), Jens Stoerkel (Frankfurt/Main), Daniel Rudersdorf (Waldbrunn) on the 6th of January 2011, bearing patent number US20110000041A1.

The above invention is a toothbrush. It has a plastic injection component which is attached to the head section of the toothbrush. It also consists of the cleaning segment which is flexible. This type of toothbrush is mainly constructed for the protection and for healthy gums. It is specially made for cleaning of the tooth surface and the inter dental spaces in the mouth. This type of toothbrush is cost effective to produce. Advantageous design of the toothbrush, at least one indenture is provided in the area of the cleaning segment of the cleaning element so that the cleaning segment has an increased bending plasticity in this place. In so far as the material parameters remain constant over the length of the cleaning element, the indentation yields a greater bending flexibility compared to a segment without concavity, as long as the indentation does not counteract the bending flexibility.
