The following is an invention to provide an improved scissors. The scissors includes two rectilinear blades which are pivotally secured to each other by a pivot at a point intermediate the ends of the blades. The basic object of the invention is to provide a scissors which is biased to an open position. When the tool is swung into closed position and retracted into the frame of the pocket knife, the blades are closed. The invention, thereby , consists in the features of construction, combination of elements and arrangement of parts which will be further  exemplified in the device and article of manufacture hereinafter described and of which the scope of application will be indicated in the appended claims.
