TODAY’S PATENT – FOOT MASSAGE MAT

Willi Dungl invented the “Foot massage mat”. The USPTO granted it patent (4329981) on 18^th May 1982.

The invention relates to a mat made out of plastic and rubber. It is a natural foot massager which eradicates the possibility of injuring oneself by its unskilled use.

The mat contains multiple bump-like structure and when the user walks over/jumps/rubs his feet against, a pressure is created between the feet and the bumps which produces a natural massage effect.
