PATENT OF THE WEEK – SAFETY HELMET

At the present time, there is a need for a commercially successful safety helmet for motorcycle operators etc.  This patent for “Safety helmet” (US4006496A) was received by Peter O. Marker by the USPTO on 8th February 1977.

The present invention relates to a safety helmet which is a lightweight, adapted for the use of the operator of a motorcycle, or the like. It meets the further specifications and standards that were in existence at the time of the development of the applicant’s co-pending application for the helmet.

Being a lightweight safety helmet, it is readily constructed from commercially available materials which is capable of meeting the standards and specifications. The helmet of the present invention is capable of meeting all presently known, or contemplated standards through the production of a safety helmet.
